Inigo calls back. Which.. doesn't say that much, since Inigo always says he's fine. It's a complete non-answer in some cases. Though this time he means it - especially since it's followed up by the sound of his sword swinging through the air, hitting both the stone floor and flesh. Fighting these blighted rats oddly reminds him of fighting the Risen back home. They also seem to be of only one mind and in great numbers.
But the sounds of Inigo's sword-swinging soon stop, instead replaced with the sound of quick footsteps across the ground. Sure, this may be a - playful, but still! - competition they're having, but maybe Inigo's heart can't help but feel worried for the other all the same, especially as Roland mentions he found a lot more. There's even a hint of worry on Inigo's face as he pops up at Roland's side, like he was worried about the other perhaps getting overwhelmed by the sheer numbers.
Thankfully Roland seems fine enough, judging from Inigo's initial glance, but he figures it can't hurt to help out all the same. He quickly swings some of the rats aside, giving Roland a few less to deal with at once.
"Trust me, I'm not trying to cheat here." In case it might seem like he ran in only to killsteal Roland, like some awful MMORPG player. "I just.."
'Wanted to make sure you were okay,' he wants to say, but it feels a little too fussy. Especially when he considers the fact that the whole deal with Tidus only happened because Inigo is too fussy to begin with, because he can't help but want to make sure everyone he cares about is okay at all times, even when they'd rather not have the help. So after an awkward silence falls, he instead finishes the sentence with a slightly more quiet, ".. just wanted to help out."
