Silence settles with the dust of the battle, dusk in the last of its light. Tidus hears his own breathing loud in his ears, the thumping of a heartbeat waiting to come down with his adrenaline; both he and Roland unsure if to relax, but nothing stirs to tell them to do otherwise.
The tree rubs against the back of Roland's clothes, and Tidus looks at him, if just for a second. Opting to keep standing upright, but he pulls out a bottle before long from his Arms, walks slowly and speaks up just as slow, to give him time before being disturbed.
"Hey."
He holds up the bottle, small in his hand. His voice as well, his gaze not lingering on his face.
