On any other occasion, he would have asked him to keep it to himself. But Roland knew his limits, and the constant fighting and patrolling were beginning to take their toll on him. He nods at Tidus and the Ether is consumed immediately, replenishing magical reserves he didn't think would last another second without help. As he does so, his own Arms Band glows to life and produces a Potion; an exchange of goods, remembering Tidus was knocked down and might need a small amount of aid. He throws it in a gentle arc as the Ether is emptied, Roland's brows already furrowing as he takes count of the trolls before them. Five. Five would have stormed the village, had they not succeeded.
"Thanks. You alright?" He says, hands moving to fix his hair, bangs out of his face.
"Looks like you got a first-hand experience on what Purple's been doing - keeping a tight defense across six villages from blighted trolls and animals, and golem hunting." He tilts his head up somewhat, thinking. "If I'm not mistaken, earlier this morning we were able to capture our twenty-third golem for purification. With more on the way."
The exhaustion makes sense, when he hears himself talk this way. But that was the job, and so it had to be done. Roland folds his arms and turns back to Tidus. "How are Red and Blue doing?"
