"Oh, the duck lady? I think I actually talked to her before.." It's hard to miss someone whose description is literally just 'a duck', after all. Unless the train somehow got more duck people since she last looked.

It's also pretty noticable that Madoka doesn't look confused or weirded out in the slightest while she's talking about duck people. Having been on the train for as long as she's been at this point sure puts a lot of things into perspective.

"She did sound very cool though! I think she said something about having been on the moon for a long time..? You've got to be tough to be able to do that!"
