Not only does Roland see the flying cockroach fly in another two circles...he finds that it lands on the nearest wall adjacent to the both of them.

And on that same wall, the cockroach joins about a dozen more of its friends, of varying sizes, watching. Unmoving. Waiting.

Roland gulps and immediately ignores the white noise, a weird beep in the back of his head. His arm extends to try and shield Inigo, slow as a sloth, his eyes not at all leaving the wall.

"Inigo. Stay calm. Move behind me. Carefully. Don't. Scream." He whispers. He needs to get his gun out again!
