"They do feel kind of old fashioned, I guess, somehow. A different kind than I'm used to. Old fashioned is what humans wore at home, chiton and togas and things. Maybe fantasy is the best word for it."

She digs a little deeper and then sits back on her heels, tapping her fingers on her thighs.

"You might have to put off the pigtails for now. Or wear them lower, so you can get a hat over top?"
