It's hard to fully make out the giant rat in this darkness, despite its size. Inigo's eyes are adjusted just enough to vaguely see its outlines. It almost looks like one of the more monstrous Risen like that, considering it's on its hind legs.

Maybe that's a good thing. He can imagine this is just like back home. The darkness. The Risen. The fight. He's so used to this. Just turn off the idea of fear, just fight, not worrying about the outcome.

"Of course. Let's divide its attention, so one of us can strike at its back. We can use the sound to be able to tell where the other is." He sounds confident, much less childish. The tone that always comes when he switches over his mindset. There's a last look at Roland, the other's face at least visible when it's this close to him, and then Inigo nods, moving forward into the almost chamber-like structure in the sewers the giant blighted rat resides in.

But there was one part of the plan that Inigo hadn't counted on failing. He's moving through the darkness, trying to tell whether or not the rat can see him despite the lack of light, whether it's looking at him or Roland-- But then there's sound.

It's almost defeaning. More and more blighted rats - of the tiny, regular rat-sized kind - blast into the room, crawling all over the floor, some trying to climb up the walls. They don't seem to attack either of the humans, but all of them are chittering, screeching, making it hard to hear just about anything but the overwhelming sound of rats, rats, rats.

And that's the problem with Inigo's mindset. It works fine when he's fighting by himself, or when he can at least occassionally glance over to make sure his companion is doing fine as well.

But between the darkness and the loud sounds, Inigo has completely lost track of Roland in the chaos. He tries to look around, but for a moment can't even spot the outline of the huge rat in the dark anymore either. Did it head for Roland? Is he okay?

Inigo's heart grows stronger with worry, and so his heart easily wins over the stone cold focus he was trying to maintain. Raising his voice in an attempt to be audible over the rats, he yells out, "Roland!"

Please, let him be okay.
