adregem: (lofty you say the silliest things.)

The candid truth of it all was that Roland was exhausted. Between a six village patrol route shared among the team to defeating troll, golem, and blighted creature alike, he knew he was growing close to the limit of his youthful body, magic that binds him be damned. The only good thing about it all is that he's more than used to keeping facade despite it, walking with a casual gait and his arms folded against his chest as he would usually go.

And even in this state of visible tiredness, the sparkle of his eyes grown slightly duller, he remains ever vigilant of those around him as the mission draws to a close. There's always someone who needs aid, always someone who might want company. Such is the case when on the way back to the train from the The Lion's Mane, he sees a familiar girl walking about, parchment and book in hand.

"Hey. You look you're looking for some trouble." He catches her mid-step, a quiet tilt of his head as he addresses Nita with his trademark calm, smile small and reserved.
