"...You can say that again." He simply remarks, looking about the rest of the village as life thrums back into a sense of normalcy despite the events of the week prior. When would their questions come to an end, no matter the mission? There was really always something left unanswered; a loose end left untied.
When Nita offers the scroll, he takes it carefully in one hand and holds it up with the other. He scans the text hastily. Roland hums, and rolls up the scroll again.
"I asked around, too." He adds quietly. "It's weird that with an army of thousands trying to break past Irivar's defenses, no team was assigned to uncover the true source of the blight. Just...clean-up and defense." He mimicks Della's wording from the other day, deliberate and skeptical.
"Tell me what's on your mind." He looks over at Nita, following her train of thought right away.
