Alfredo is doing his best to look for the next opening - another crowd of ice sprites, or a weakening part of the cage - when Tidus approaches him.

Immediately, Alfredo heads in the teen's direction.

"That... would be a very good idea," he says, rueful tone in his voice.

"It should be much easier to get a shield than a sword, in any case. Still, I must thank you for your help."

The spell was far from nothing; hopefully Tidus wasn't downplaying his own assistance!

"Would they have... fuel, or whatever they run on, for your spells, as well?"

One good turn deserves another, after all.
