Alfredo accepts the plan with a nod, then shouts.

He is, however, only one small boy; he's not louder than a gunshot!

Realizing this in sheepishness, he starts clapping his hands together instead - which stings, given the cold, but not as bad as it could hurt.

"Is it alright if I borrow a gun, Mami? I could try striking it against the side of the cave."

In addition to, well, shooting it. Or firing blanks, even; with gunpowder, at least it'd still make noise...
