Roland's reaction is obvious. Worry. It's obvious from everything - his actions, his hurry, his gaze. Inigo realises it too, and he's not too sure how to feel about it. At least worry means Roland doesn't hate him (it wasn't a real fear, but a small insecurity in the back of Inigo's mind still whispered to him about but what if it's true), but at the same time it means he worried Roland. Just because he wasn't strong enough to actually face the other.

And that's the last thing he wanted to do.

For a moment he will manage to catch Inigo's eye. Just a moment where they look each other directly in the eyes. With the worry and insecurity in Inigo's eyes on full display. But then it's like he shrinks under Roland's scrutiny, his gaze dropping.

"I'm-- It's fine." At least it's not entirely a lie, since the spot where Reno hurt him seems fine now. Most likely because of that potion he had right after the fight, and a little while of natural healing added on top of it. But emotionally fine is different story entirely. It's saying something that Inigo isn't even trying to put up his usual smiling front. There's no attempt at it, instead the line of his mouth seems tight with worry.

He sucks in a breath, knowing he can't put off saying what he wanted to say to Roland in the first place. The reason he sought out the other guy.

"I just.. wanted to say that I'm sorry. Sorry for dragging you into trouble because of me. Sorry if I made you worry. And.. sorry that I wasn't strong enough to really stand up to my bully, the way you told me to."
