Reno was about to turn to the new guy bothering him when the money chinked onto the counter and he stopped short. He glanced at Tidus from the side and eyed the blond a moment. He gave a half-hearted, lopsided smirk--nothing like his usual sly smile though, more like a fake simulation of it.

"'Ey, thanks. Forgot about that." Tidus could have just hang onto the money and Reno never would have known the difference. Plus side, he wouldn't hold a grudge if he didn't remember. Now he remembered and Tidus had earned some brownie points with the Turk by giving him the money.

It was definitely going to get spent on more booze. Not sorry.
