"Mm," she hums in agreement. It was a rather nasty move that the castle pulled, grabbing her in the middle of all that.

"Huh. Bending sounds like a real pain to control." Wizardry at least offered more precision when it came to powers. Sure, you had to look up information before starting, but you could generally trust the words to define the expected outcome.

She makes a face.

"Wait a minute. If lifting the chains brought it closer to the Light but also stopped Bending, does that mean that Bending was wrong?" Was this like the wishing in Paradisa? Where it might be nice and convenient, but also had unexpected consequences.
