Wormmon is so excited he scatters a few of his sticks. "I'll meet you there. I have to get Ken-chan."

And off he inches in a hurry, leaving - in a stroke of fortune - a whole bunch of skinny long sticks for Guilmon to use! For whatever s'mores require skinny long sticks for!
