Uh oh. The problem with going octopus form is that outside of ink she's no better than a normal octopus on land. The only advantage it would offer was being able to go to the straight line -- which Roland just shattered with GRAPPLING HOOK.

But she wasn't out of the race yet.

As soon as she's out to a small clearing, her eyes were set on the back of her squad commander. Her tentacles curled close, her gaze set, and with a mighty push the octopus sprung into the air with on a rocket of high-pressured ink barreling straight after Roland.

"YOU. NEVER." As she reached the apex she shifted back to her humanoid form, a broad grin on her face as she flew through the air. "ASKED!!"
