Roland would have paused in slight concern, having heard Inigo's yell as he falls from the tree. Listen, he wants to win but he doesn't want anyone getting hurt, even if he's inevitably making things worse by commanding Bambosh to play dirty and tickle the both of them down for the count.

It's perfect then that as he regains his momentum with the spell slowly (pun intended) wearing off, dashing with as much energy as he can muster, that Gibbs does the ultimate of all betrayals and drenches him totally in cold, beachy water. Salt water too, so it stings the skin, forces him to close his eyes and exclaim loudly. But here's the problem - he doesn't stop running, tries to wipe his face such that Gibbs can give him room to breathe, to see. An arm over his eyes until karma finally catches up to him for his little tricks:

"GAH!"

There was no other end but this. Roland's momentum slams him face first into the trunk of a tree, just a little ways away from Inigo himself. Wherever Tidus was, as busy as Bambosh is trying to stop him from getting a lead, the damage has been done regardless. Like a limp doll, the president twitches, his arms retracting around the width of the tree as higgledies jump off of him and squeal in either concern or delight. His nose is thankfully, just slightly red from the impact, not bleeding outwardly, but he's dizzy.

He falls down on his back, both hands over his face in pain and discomfort. It's an ouch moment. He probably deserves it. But he'll lay there to get his bearings.

Gibbs is on top of his chest with his underlings, dancing in victory.
