Alright, Sizhui can't help grinning as well this time. It was a pretty decent joke in his opinion, so it's nice to see that Tidus thinks the same.
Xue Yang. Oh no, another name on the not-so-good list, even though he's been doing his best to not let that bother him as much as it probably should. From what he knows, Xue Yang's been behaving (for the most part?) and hasn't murdered anyone lately (that he knows of!!!), so he hasn't been keeping too close an eye on him. He shakes his head as if that will eject any terrible thoughts that linger then his focus is back on Tidus once more. “We are from the same world, yes, and what he's told you is likely correct. Although, we don't all use the dead to fight. A lot of us use magic to fight the dead.”
But seeing the commiseration on Tidus's face makes him soften somewhat, however. He never thought there would be other people who might understand what happens in his world, despite it being a bit different in some sense, yet the ‘bigger problems rather than fighting one another’ is absolutely true.
“I'm sorry you've had to go through such things, but I am also grateful that you understand.” While his smile doesn't exactly return, his expression does faintly lift, and if he were close enough, he would've reached to reassuringly touch Tidus's shoulder. “Especially if it means you know why we try and enjoy the little things, like our rabbit herds. We also have dogs and cats and various farm animals, so... variety, I suppose?”
oh gosh, no worries at all!! i'm a bit slow myself atm as you can see... haha
