a. Preparation

Picking up an orange tent, Adam set it beside him and slid a bag of cooking equipment closer, opening it to poke through it and see what was inside ahead of time. Despite spending a lot of time in the woods, he'd never actually gone camping so a lot of these things were foreign to him. They couldn't be that hard to figure out, though.

Closing up the cooking equipment bag again, he hefted the tent in one hand and tested its weight. He did the same with the cooking equipment, then tried them both in one hand, in case he'd need a hand to do something. It seemed manageable enough, and if he could climb through a cave he could trek through a jungle.

b. Initial Task

He had nothing on him to cut through the vines so he was attempting to shove them out of the way to the best of his ability. As one might expect, it wasn't going so well. He was two seconds away from giving up and looking for something sharp when he caught sight of a giant armadillo. Freezing, he stayed still for a moment before slowly letting go of the vines and turning to better face the animal.

"Easy," he murmured, taking a single step closer. He didn't know how calm the animal was, but it seemed to be more curious than anything else. Despite not feeling like he was in danger, he wasn't going to push his luck and get any closer. Some things were to be admired from a distance, no matter how much you wanted to touch it.

c. Camping

The trek through the jungle had been a little longer than he'd anticipated, but he still had plenty of energy to pitch a tent. Except he'd never pitched a tent before, and though the work was slow, it was steady. He was pretty sure he knew what he was doing.

His tent...mostly looked like a tent when he stepped back to look at his progress, scrubbing a hand across his forehead. It looked better than some tents in progress he'd seen, at least. Kneeling down again, he got back to work.

"This goes...here? I think, and...-"
