He was glad that his presence made her feel more comfortable and more confident about this. The Blue Team was all so young that it was not unexpected for them to want at least some assistance from an adult.

At least this assignment, while as urgent as all of the other ones, didn't have an element of danger in it, like the ice from the last mission. This one just had animals and trying to take care of them.

"I think that would be a good idea and we have one here to help us test." He nodded towards a grove of plants nearby. "Let's try those first."

They were close enough to the machines that it was possible if the animals came to feed on them, then they were subsequently attracted to the machines.
