He smiles back. "I do love to learn new things. I remember how encouraging you were when I was growing up, so I give you credit for a part of my enthusiasm."

He smiles again to see her herding the little robots.

As they sit to eat at the campsite, he dips a couple of bowls of soup out of the big pot and hands her one.

"I am so sorry you have to deal with the pain of loss, yet another time. It doesn't seem fair. But I do understand what you are saying. Having gone through it before can actually be an advantage, when one is dealing with loss."
