The sword he got out now, trading magic for energy in his task. Giving it some of a swing, he looks over for the remaining trees that needed to be dealt with (or, their branches), walking to the other side, following the branches hanging overhead led. Most of the trees were significantly tall, large trunks to boost them up, and this'll take some work indeed, if he's going as close to the bottom.

"This one good?" He doesn't see anything in particular growing on it other than vines. "It'll take a while, but that's fine, right? I'm not sure how clean I'm gonna be either," he warns.

To show, Tidus brings up his sword, takes it as low as he thinks as he can reasonably get on the trunk, and mimics the motions he imagines he's going to take. "Like this? Unless we want to do a smaller tree... I should get through a smaller tree easier."
