He raises his hands, doing his best to wipe them away, but new ones seem to take their place almost immediately, making it a useless effort. ]

S-Sorry.. [ He sputters out, because he doesn't want this either. Him crying, Tidus frantically apologizing over what was just a dumb joke gone entirely wrong.

And yet somehow his chest still feels so tight, his heart still hurts. ]
