That sounded like a difficult situation to have been in. Knowing people needed help but unable to do anything to assist them. He didn't assume that anyone from the train had failed that mission; instead he figured that things must have gotten overwhelmingly terrible. There was a small bright side in that everyone from the train had been safe, but that wouldn't bring an entire world and all of it's people back.

"I'm sorry," he said sincerely. "I can't imagine that kind of loss."
