His excitement on a new target seemed almost infection, but from what she knew of Elves and how long they had to perfect their skill, she supposed it was only obvious.
She followed after him. For all she could've easily kept up (easy as it was to adjust), her staying behind meant it was easier to watch his back, her ears alert for anything that looked or sounded out of place.
