He saves his own introduction for later, naturally cautious even as he worries about the state of Halo's injuries. The thoughts running through his mind are vastly contradicting; on one hand, there was the urgency to save her. On the other, the barrage of questions that Roland can't help but ask himself despite them.

Roland doesn't know if Halo will be in any condition to answer them either, so he stews on them for now, walking with a characteristic sense of haste, radio in hand and phone tucked in his pocket where it could catch their conversations in recording. If they're lucky, Halo will reveal it in her own due time.
