Apparently, there was some sort of problem with attacking the terraforming machine, relating to Reno's pyramid, which was holding the terraformer suspended in the clearing. They'd have to deal with it soon, but at the moment, Reno was right, the smaller robots were the current danger.

Working with Roland, Curufin kept slashing at these smaller opponents, chopping them into bits and not getting hit very often nor very effectively by their fire. When those five ceased to be a problem, he'd walk over to the floating terraforming robot and take a close look at it. There might be some way to destroy it, but he needed feedback from Reno before he'd even try it.
