Rich is a pretty athletic guy, so the long winding path isn't exactly difficult for him to navigate, though he is finding that the scenery leaves something to be desired. Once the initial excitement over the space station's appearance faded, it was easy to see a lot of it looked like the same metal and plastic everywhere.
He needs something to preoccupy himself, so he'll turn to whoever is nearby and offer a smile.
"So! This is what a 'real' mission is like, huh?"
Help or Hindrance
Rich is not a fan of the temperatures around here. Sloshing through flooded areas are annoying too. Still, he'd be willing to deal with all of that if it wasn't for the helpmates.
He hates the look of those things. He can't help it, really... They're all holographic and glowing and tipping quite easily into the uncanny valley. They all have features that are similar to a thing that was in his head not so long ago, and seeing them makes his heart stutter in his chest.
He does try to shove past the fear and help, but that certainly doesn't help the situation. He tends to shove aside any helpmate in his way, so it doesn't take long for a few to corner him when they decide they don't like that anymore. Rich grips his kit tightly, his other fist up in as much of a fighting stance as he can manage.
"Wh-What the fuck? Get away from me!"
His breath picks up as one shoves him. "I said s-stop! Please!"
Patch Job
Rich does eventually find a quieter spot, free of AI, where he can work on some of the damaged pipes. He's trying his best to repair them, but he's still working on his training for repairs, so he might be working a little slower than others. Especially with his hands still trembling.
Eventually, he'll look over and try to wave someone over. "H-hey, would you mind watching my back a little? I just... can't seem to focus."
