It definitely is rare from Raven. But it's not the first time the other girl has hugged her, so it's not a total surprise to Madoka either. If anything, she just thinks it's sweet - the actual physical affection the other girl displays towards her, the way she's so concerned with Madoka's wellbeing.

Of course she wraps her arms right back around Raven to hug her in return, though the hold is light - as if she wants to let Raven leave the hug at any moment she wants.

"Okay. See you again after all of this.."

And hopefully with a less chaotic ending than last time around.
