It takes the girl a moment to decypher what words he just said, considering it was so quiet that she mostly had to lipread. Hence why she doesn't speak up right away as Yondu and the man exchange words. Madoka is still trying to figure it out, maybe even counting out the words on her fingers..

Though then she suddenly realises it. Can't see I'm different? Ah, that's right, this man they're talking to very much looks like a regular human, just like Madoka.. But maybe they have other people in this city who do look like Yondu, or at least similarly non-human?
