Which it's not exactly detailed. He could use his arrow and shoot someone in a cockpit that he can't see, but he'd only be able to tell they were there from a rough person shape. That he can hit someone across the length of a field hiding behind an obstacle. But trees, rocks, strange furniture can fool that artificial sense. It's just detailed enough that he can tell when a whole story is broken down.
