I don't think you're the only person in the entire world with that opinion. [ There's a bit of a deadpan edge to her tone - because Alice thinks this much is only obvious. Don't most people sleep better when things are calm and quiet? Sure, she knows that there are some people with odd preferences, but she's pretty sure that's basically the default for a good place and situation to sleep in.. ]

But surely a guy like you must know that it's not always possible to live in those circumstances.

So you just have to get used to sleeping, even when things are on edge.
