Otoha is lumping him in a category other than "terrible". Ken comes across as something other than "terrible", when he meets new people. Ken, trying nothing more than "to be Ken", is someone who can be accepted.

"I'm going to protect Ken-chan from the terrible people," Wormmon informs Otoha's leg. He had felt bad about leaning here, but then he got a pat, so now he is nuzzling. This is not as nice as nuzzling with Ken-chan but it is still pretty good.
