He feels the sentiment deeply himself. A lot of 'big strong men' gave their lives for him to be used as a lab rat. He was once accused of not appreciating their sacrifice. He did, honestly, actually. They cared more about him than the scientists, whether it be as an object or as a human being.

He appreciated their work, but he also hated how they expected respect for making people do what they didn't want to. Her associations might be different, but that's where his lied.

"You're gonna give me a bad name, pointing that out," he says wryly. "I'll keep an eye on you."
