Evie looks concerned at the idea that people were buried in the landslide. Kaito didn’t mention people were lost, but she can’t stop the look of alarm on her face.

“A landslide. That’s awful. I’m glad you’re alright”

She hopes everyone else lucked out just as much as Kaito did. Shifting the sleeping child again, she manages to wake her and points out the girls parent. The kid throws herself at her parents, babbling at them excitedly and Evie smiles, relieved.

“I’m exhausted and ache everywhere, but I’m fine.”
