"Something like that," says Curufin with a smile. "I wasn't born in a world that has what you'd call modern technology, but I spent some time in a world where people understood both magic and technology. I helped a friend build an airship, and then we sailed it all over the lands. That was fun!"

Curufin tosses the rope to the man who is still in the mud helping his friends get out, and that man attaches a rope to yet another person.
