The pause is more brief this time, but there's still a few moments before she answers. First just with a slight dip of her head, but then she finally verbalizes it.

She's still moving, if not just because she's being dragged along by him, but she can't seem to tear her gaze away from everything around them.
"This.. is the last thing I saw before I ended up on the train. I was with my family at one of the shelters, but when I saw how bad things were getting outside, I knew it wouldn't hold.." Especially considering the state of the buildings all around them right now. "So.. I went outside by myself to try and stop this before more people got hurt."
