Jeremy's got a whole sentence and a half on his tongue and ready to spill out of his lips, some protests and explanations, but as Jeremy processes that answer, he freezes.

"You haven't heard of the..." Jeremy studies Rich's face to figure out if he's joking. It doesn't look like it, but Jeremy's not great at knowing that kind of thing. He keeps one hand on Rich's shoulder in case Rich drops to the ground.

"Are you - Rich, tell me what's happening. Are you getting shocked?"
