He takes in the sight of the other man and then shakes his head. "We are not familiar." So that he is aware that they have not met before. It is better then leaving that unanswered and the man left to assume he knows more about him.

But he is helping and therefore not a threat. He looks in the direction that most of these creatures seem to be coming from. He isn't sure if they were from a zoo or some sort of exhibit or simply ended up coming from that area because they were drawn to where more animals were. But as long as they were caught and transported somewhere safe, that is what mattered. Organizing the chaos can come later.
