It's when he hears her that he puts down the items that he's collecting together and goes over to her side. He brings a beer mug full of water over with him, and perches on the arm of the couch.

"That went real well, didn't it?" he sounds a little apologetic, handing her the mug.

"You got 'em real pissed off anyway."
