He looks around at them, tucking his items away so that they are safe and secure beneath his clothing. Then he is bending down to scoop several up into his arms carefully. Even if they aren't real, he can't just let them be in a dangerous place alone. But he doesn't think these animals are all just a part of this bizarre illusion.

"There is a case that will hold a couple." He nods towards the closet.
