Tendrils of colour break away from the main mass, coming down to each person here. But instead of attacking they aim to push, or wrap themselves around limbs and pull. They can be destroyed, there are more. They don't go far, just to where people can be seen, the many many citizens moving towards the evacuation point. A group moving across a semi-stable platform.

Shadows begin to crowd in, shapes in the sky. The shadows from memory- though those who have seen them before will realise these are illusions. They do not feel the same, though it will be difficult to pinpoint how exactly. Circling the people on the platform.
