Curufin is knocked down by the blast of energy from the entity, but he soon gets up. It is hard to defeat an Elf of the First Age of Arda. He rises, springs forward, and and starts slashing at the tendrils that are reaching for or already grasping the other combatants.

"YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO WHAT IS BEING SAID TO YOU," he shouts at the entity. "WE VOIDTRECKERS DID NOT DESTROY YOUR PLANET! YOU SHOULD OFFER US AN ALLIANCE IN ORDER TO KILL THOSE SHADOW BEINGS THAT ATE YOUR WORLD!"
