Dairine isn't so sure this turn of conversation is a good idea. They can't even control who comes and goes on the train in normal circumstances — could they convince the Voidtreck Express to bring Chaos aboard the roster? And would it be wise to have a being so intensely Voidsick in closed quarters? (If their previous words were to be believed, they must have Voidsickness, right? It's so hard to follow their scattered narrative sometimes.)

She stares into the dark abyss, wondering in the back of her mind if it was the earth opening up or the darkness consuming this Entity. Had they survived both darkness and Void? Were they even mortal?

"Rather than joining, couldn't we just be equals? Sunset's right, the best way to keep connections isn't to tie folks down but to let them be free to chose their own way. Even if life takes us elsewhere, that doesn't mean you'll be alone. There are are thousands upon thousands of other people to meet. And there will always be the memories you make along the way."

She would bring up Timeheart, but that might be a bit too close to death talk for this conversation.

"Whichever you choose, please know that we'd love to have you as an ally. We have a common enemy. The shadows of destruction have brought great pain to us as well and many other planets besides. Someone aught to stop them." And knowing their luck, it'll probably end up being the Voidtreckers. Eventually.
