Still, he is not abandoning Wei Wuxian nor his friend Lan Zhan, so he shoots off his Bloodstones, aiming away from Lan Zhan to free Wei Wuxian from Chaos' grasp with the blasts. Only then will he go to slice himself free, if he has to. Then, once he's definitely free, Zag will be using his very few short-range teleports to grab Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan, and try to get them both to safety.
