Not only does Potato continue clinging, but something quite odd happens when the blade- and Potato- hits the ground.

She just sort of. Squishes. Flattens against the ground. If she were capable of it, there would probably be an odd 'squeakysqueaky' sound to accompany it. "MmmMmMMMm-nope!! You can't hurt me anyway, so I'm going to stay here! Because then, you can't hurt him either!" she cheers. "Because that's how Granny made me!"

At least, she's pretty sure doing this means Tidus can't be hurt anyway. She supposes if the blade got all the way through her, then Tidus would be in trouble, but she's going to do her best to not let that happen!
