"Yes." He nodded at the tiny creature. "It's time to go home." He puts the button back in his pocket, safe and sound and reaches out for the child's hand.

"I can help you." He's done this more times than he can count now, images, voices, the emotions of many lives echoing through his head but he can do it again. As many times as necessary.
