Food and Sights

She is very suspicious of this festival. Her world has a longest night even if it is truly just one night, and it is a stupid light god worshipping festival where they pray and wait for the light to return as if it is some victory over darkness and not just what happens every day.

For dark god followers it is a time of chaos, but it has to be done even more secretly than usual. She's not sure she wants to celebrate some other worldly version.

But from the start this doesn't seem as stupid, it's busy and bustling and there's food. Good food. Sweet food that wants to burn her mouth off. It's great!. "Be trying some." She handed some to any unsuspecting voidtrecker she spotted. "It do be being good."

Remembrance

Even this was not so stupid as she expected, the light dancing and floats were cool and people were not all leaky eyed. She held her candle and watched before following to the quiet places. She didn't light a candle on the river but she did listen at the shrines and looked around for a place to be...

She's unsure though, it's not even been very long since she let her sisters memory be in her head at all, since she let her tongue speak of her. She wants to pray but it feels wrong to do it with a lit candle. She looks around, torn and feeling out of place.

Fireworks

Now this was cool! Exploding lights in the sky! She likes this! She is eating more food and watching with wide eyes, trying to get to the highest place she can to see them. It's loud and it's crowded but she doesn't care too much, she wants to see more.

"This do be being so cool."

Unity

She stays on the sidelines for the most part, watching the dancing, eating more food, drinking good drinks and pushing herself past the boundaries of tired. She has to admire their dedication to this Neran. If the light god worshippers in her own world danced through the whole night instead of huddling and praying in silent sorrowful vigil until the sun came back she would have more respect for them.

Still she's a little grumpy as she sits waiting for the sun to return, though at least it might make the world a bit warmer.
