The Voidtrecker Express pulls into the Osiga station, and Curufin gets off. He's dressed warmly and so doesn't experience distress from the cold. He walks around, looking at the building and the view. The blue mountains in the distance and the shimmering blue sky entrance him.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" he says to whomever is near him.
Exploring the true grotto:
After he gets a room at the hotel, he goes to see the sights. He checks out the museums and art galleries, and then he goes to one of the drinking places and gets a tumbler of the fiery whiskey. This puts him in an even better mood than he was in before.
"Well, what shall we do now?" he says to whomever is with him. "This place is very interesting."
Sors Parks, open skies:
He wanders in one of the parks, gazing at the abstract sculptures, collecting snow on his clothing. "Cold in here, eh?" he remarks to his companion.
Nights one, two, and three:
He goes to the parade and carries a candle, which he places in one of the designated areas. He closes his eyes for a moment and thinks of those he has loved and lost, both in his world and in his travels outside his own world.
"Farewell, and my best wishes for your life in the afterlife," he murmurs.
At the fireworks display, he carries a sparkler and smiles in amusement. He gazes upwards as the fireworks explode and decorate the sky. He joins the cheering for Neran, and of course he drinks more whiskey.
On the night of the dancing, he joins in enthusiastically, since he loves to dance and always has. He cavorts and spins, footing it gracefully through the streets with the others.
Sunrise:
He goes up to the clifftops to watch the advent of the new day. Of course he has listened to the people telling the tale of Neran and its significance, so he can identify. He cheers when the first ray of light radiates into the sky. "A new day dawns!" he shouts.
