He shrugs. "Sure, it sucks not knowing what is going on at home. But life on the train has its moments. Also its probably been the most polite kidnapping I've ever had."

And also he tended to be more suspicious of helpful adults than he did of ones who made their agenda known at the start. And that was a whole mess he was nowhere near ready to unpack.
